WHO WE ARE

The ocean in our life exists to bring people and organizations together with the common goal of Act to save our Blue Planet

It contributes to the protection and conservation of marine biodiversity and it sustainable use of the ocean according to the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the Paris Agreement for Climate Change, the  Kuming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMBF), and the Agreement for Biodiversity Beyond the National Jurisdiction (BBNJ)

Provide a  voice and networking platform for youth, indigenous people, local communities, civil society, scientists, NGO’s,  business, academy and government institutions related with the ocean

Through its webinars and activities for children Ocean in our life aims to: 

• Raise awareness about the importance of the ocean in our life
• Make public the knowledge of indigenous people and local communities
• Share the results of scientific and oceanographic organizations
• Inform about training education and conservation programs around the world
• Promote sustainable use of ocean services and resources
